Quick Setup

Use a PDF and an API key; we handle the trust work.

No Uploads. No Detours. Just Seal

Traditional e-signature tools push you into external workflows and file transfers. Publisher — Trusted PDF Sealing drops into what you already use (CLI, API, Zapier). Files stay in your environment; we handle the sealing and trust profile.

From idea to sealed PDF before your coffee cools.

We handle the cryptography, certificate lifecycle, and PDF manipulation for you — removing the complexity that stops most teams from protecting their documents.

Publisher - Trusted PDF Sealing is a fully in-place sealing model that embeds trusted cryptographic seals into your native workflows—eliminating uploads, e-signature flows, and third-party exposure while preserving complete data ownership. Recipients see the blue “Certified” banner in Acrobat/Reader.

  • Small and Medium Businesses & Lean Teams: enterprise-grade document security without extra headcount or training.
  • Developers & Operations: ship faster - sealing is a single commant in your pipeline, not a project.
  • Security & Compliance: gain OV-level assurance with zero PKI or PDF tooling to maintain.

How Our Simple Design Works

The signing process

Publisher makes it easy with our command line interface (CLI), API, or Zap and secure API key authentication.

On your machine, the Command Line Interface (CLI) prepares the PDF for signing, invokes our API, and then applies the signature to the PDF automatically.

Our self-contained CLI integrates with any technology stack: Node.js, Java, Python, shell scripts, and more. Easily add PDF signing to your existing workflow.

For advanced users, our REST API provides direct integration options.

If you prefer a no-code solution, a Zapier integration is also available.

What We Handle For You

We manage the technical complexity of PDF sealing—so you don’t have to. 🔐 Security - PDFS aren’t uploaded; we run in hardened, isolated infrastructure with HSM-protected kays. See: secure environments

💯 Availability - Redundant environments; predictable outcomes

📜 Certificate management - We procure and renew org certificates (TS OV by default; Identity options available)

🔑 Key custody - Private keys are non-exportable and stay inside FIPS 140-3 HSMs

🧱 CMS construction - Standards-based signatures that validate in Acrobat/Reader, PAdES-compliant viewers and our Validator

⏱️ Long-term verification (optional) - Configure and add RFC 3161 timestamp + OCSP/CRL for LTV when needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

How easy is it to integrate PDF sealing into our workflow?
Publisher integration options include a CLI/API, Zapier and Documenso. Verify anytime in Adobe Acrobat reader, any PAdES-compliant pdf reader or with our free web-based PDF Validator.
What programming languages are supported?
Any stack that can call an API or shell out to our CLI (Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, shell scripts, more). The API uses JSON over HTTPS and works with any programming language.
Do I need deep PDF or PKI expertise?
No. We handle the certificate, sealing profile, and verification details.
